I traded CDs with a kid in my class. But now I want mine back. His CD is scratched and mine isn’t. He says, “No trade-backs. A deal’s a deal!” I say if he were a true friend he’d trade back. What do you think?
I don’t think my little sister’s best friend likes her. Should I: a.) Tell her, b.) Not tell her, or c.) Try to convince the friend to like her again? My mother says for now not to tell her, but I don’t want my little sister to get shunned and not know why.
I get in trouble for talking too much in school. My buddy—actually my BEST friend—sits next to me. We get our names on the board a lot. I’m not trying to get into trouble. It just happens. What should I do?
It bugs me that every time I go to a sleepover, I end up calling my parents to come pick me up before it’s time for bed. Sometimes I even cry (usually in the bathroom where no one sees) because I want to go home. It’s embarrassing! I’m in 5 th grade! None of my friends feel like that.
A few years ago, my twin sister and I received a computer game for our birthday. Now our father says our little sisters should be able to play it without “seeking permission.” We’ve tried saying, “If they have to share our presents we should get to share theirs.” Our mother pointed out that theirs are not “the sharing kind.” So I’m stumped.
