Father’s Day Gift Idea

Here’s a colorful desk organizer that you can make for Dad!

Take an empty, regular-sized soup can and a couple of old boxes (the size that’s used for a tube of toothpaste or cough medicine). Cut one of the boxes so it’s in the shape of a shallow, open box. Cover your can and the boxes with crinkled aluminum foil, leaving one end of each container open. Cover a piece of flat cardboard with crinkled aluminum foil. (This will be your base for the other pieces.)

Paint the surfaces of the aluminum foil. (If you want the aluminum to keep its shiny affect, use a dry paintbrush and very little paint). Glue the can and boxes onto the base, and you have a great Father’s Day gift!
